Parris Campbell Likely To Get First Shot In The Slot
2 years agoGiven New York Giants wide receivers Wan'Dale Robinson's and Sterling Shepard's season-ending injuries in 2022, newcomer Parris Campbell, who is coming off the best season of his career with 63 catches and 623 yards with the Indianapolis Colts, will likely get the first shot as the team's primary slot option in 2023. The Giants probably lack a true No. 1 on the outside, but The Athletic's Charlotte Carroll is sticking with Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins as the top outside options. Most of Campbell's career has been defined by injuries, but he's a former second-rounder with plenty of speed, and most of his experience in Indy came out of the slot. The 25-year-old's fantasy ceiling will depend on Robinson's and Shepard's recoveries from their respective injuries.
