Raiders Expected To Be Interested In Mike Vrabel, Liam Coen For Head Coach

Vrabel is already scheduled to interview for head-coaching openings with the Patriots and Chicago Bears, while Coen has a request from the Jacksonville Jaguars.Raiders Retaining General Manager Tom Telesco

Telesco will be part of that committee as the team looks to hire their fifth head coach since moving from Oakland to Vegas in 2020 and their ninth since Davis took over from his father, Al, in 2011. Jon Gruden resigned as the head coach in 2021 following controversial emails that came to light, followed by Josh McDaniels being fired in 2023, and now Pierce is out after just one full season as the Raiders' head coach. Pierce gave the Raiders a spark last year to win five of their final games as the interim head coach, but he led Vegas to a 4-13 season in 2024 as the full-time head coach. He was initially hired by the Raiders in 2022 as a linebackers coach.
