The New York Jets requested permission to interview Buffalo Bills assistant general manager Brian Gaine for their opening at the GM position, according to a source. The Jets are seeking a new GM and a new head coach this offseason. New York fired previous GM Joe Douglas following yet another loss back in Week 11 of the 2024 season. Gaine has previous experience working as the Houston Texans' general manager, although he lasted only 18 months in that role. He's from the New York Area and was on the Jets' practice squad as a player before becoming a scout under Bill Parcells. Although he has little experience as an actual GM, Gaine has been a big part of Buffalo's recent turnaround in the AFC East. The Jets are casting a wide net for their GM position as they head into a major rebuild in 2025.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
