Source: Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network
The Los Angeles Rams have traded the No. 26 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for the 46th pick, 242nd pick, and a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Rams also moved the 101st overall pick in the deal. With the third trade of the night, the Falcons moved up to select Tennessee defensive end James Pearce Jr.Andres Munoz Secures Ninth Save
Andres Munoz locked down his ninth save of the season on Thursday, pitching a scoreless ninth in a 4-3 win over the Red Sox. He struck out two and walked one. This extended his scoreless streak to 13 innings, as he hasn't given up a single run all season. He is also maintaining a 0.85 WHIP with 17 strikeouts, making him one of the most dominant relievers in baseball so far in 2025. His nine saves are tied for second-most in the league, and there will be plenty more to come as he has a firm hold on the closing role for Seattle.Source: MLB.com
Seattle Mariners relief pitcher Falcons Trade Back Into First Round To Draft James Pearce Jr. At No. 26 Overall
Source: NFL.com
The Atlanta Falcons traded up with the Los Angeles Rams and selected Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Falcons took Georgia edge rusher Jalon Walker with their first pick in the first round at No. 15. It's not a surprise that the Falcons loaded up on the defensive line early in this draft given how lacking they were in the pass-rush department in 2024. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Pearce is explosive off the ball with good speed and power, but he wasn't all that consistent with the Volunteers at the collegiate level. The young pass-rusher was a first-team All SEC selection last year and led Tennessee with 13 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks while playing in all 13 games (nine starts). Pearce's weakness is that he lacks bend, and he'll need to improve his technique as a run defender. But in terms of need, the Falcons hit on both of their first-round picks.Matthew Golden Selected No. 23 Overall By Green Bay
Matthew Golden at No. 23 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. In a wild turn of events, the Pack selected their first first-round wideout since 2002. Golden didn't post gaudy numbers during his collegiate years. Still, he boasts blazing speed set to torment any NFL defense -- famously out-running former Texas teammate Isaiah Bond at the combine with a blistering 4.29 40-yard dash. He'll enter a loaded WR corps in Green Bay, joining incumbent starters Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and solid rotational piece Dontayvion Wicks. Golden's avenue to playing time appears murky at this time, considering most of his playing time came from the slot, where Reed would typically occupy. However, he possesses game-altering speed that will make it difficult to keep him off the field.Source: Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have chosen Texas Longhorn wide receiver Texans Trade The 25th Pick In The 2025 NFL Draft To The Giants
The Houston Texans have traded the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the New York Giants in exchange for the 34th pick, 99th pick, and a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. In the second blockbuster move of the night, the Giants moved up in the first round to take Ole Miss quarterbackJakob Marsee Up To 18 Steals At Triple-A
Jakob Marsee went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases on Thursday for Triple-A Jacksonville. The 23-year-old has now hit safely in nine of the last 11 games, going 12-for-37 (.324) over that stretch, slashing .240/.412/.427 on the year. A strong walk rate of 17.0 percent has provided that elite OBP, which has in turn allowed him to unleash his stolen base prowess, now with 18 after Thursday's game, which is the most in Triple-A by far. Fantasy managers in NL-only leagues that are in need of steals should keep an eye out for a promotion in the coming months, as the former Arizona Fall League MVP could provide a boost as soon as he arrives.Source: MiLB.com
Miami Marlins outfield prospect Omarion Hampton Taken No. 22 Overall By Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers have selected former North Carolina Tar Heel running back Omarion Hampton with the No. 22 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Hampton was the consensus second-ranked RB in this class, and he'll enterread more...
Pittsburgh Selects Derrick Harmon At No. 21 Overall
Source: Jordan Schultz
The Pittsburgh Steelers have chosen Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon with the No. 21 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Harmon spent his first three collegiate seasons at Michigan State, but did his best work in his senior season with the Ducks. The 6-foot-4 defensive lineman racked up 45 tackles (27 solo) with five sacks, 11 tackles-for-loss, four pass break-ups, and two fumbles forced and recovered. He'll slot into a formidable Steelers defensive front alongside veterans Cameron Heyward, T.J. Watt, and Alex Highsmith, who were surprisingly middling in the sack department last season (40). The disruptive Harmon should fit nicely in that group with his upfield style, locking down the middle of Pittsburgh's defensive line while Highsmith and Watt wreak havoc off the edge.Broncos Build Secondary By Selecting Jahdae Barron At No. 20
Source: NFL.com
The Broncos added to their defensive secondary by selecting cornerback Jahdae Barron out of Texas with the No. 20 pick in the NFL Draft. Barron won the 2025 Thorpe Award Winner for the best defensive back in the country after snagging five interceptions and not allowing a touchdown all season. He added 67 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and one sack, showing off versatility that should make him successful at the NFL level. Barron will join Patrick Surtain II to give the Broncos one of the best defensive backfields in the league. Some Broncos fans may be disappointed that the team didn't go with an offensive playmaker, but they added a player who should be a very valuable contributor right away on defense.Buccaneers Add Emeka Egbuka At No. 19
Emeka Egbuka with the 19th pick in the draft. Egbuka is the latest in a line of five straight OSU wide receivers selected in the first round, following the footsteps of Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Marvin Harrison Jr. Egbuka hauled in 81 catches for 1,011 yards this last season and scored 10 touchdowns for the Buckeyes. He'll join a crowded receiver room with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and last year's rookie Jalen McMillan, but he has the talent and experience to be an immediate contributor for QB Baker Mayfield as the Bucs look to repeat as NFC South champions for a fifth straight season.Source: NFL.com
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added another outstanding wide receiver to their pass-catching corps by taking Ohio State's Seahawks Select Grey Zabel At No. 18
Sam Darnold this season. Zabel was widely considered one of the safest picks on the board with a high floor due to his versatility.Source: NFL.com
The Seahawks opted to fortify their front line with the addition of offensive guard Grey Zabel from North Dakota State at the No. 18 spot in the 2025 NFL Draft. Zabel becomes the highest drafted offensive lineman in FCS history. The 23-year-old Zabel is extremely versatile, with the potential to play all five positions on the offensive line. He will likely settle in the interior and provide excellent protection for new Seahawks' QB Bengals Take Shemar Stewart 17th Overall
Source: NFL.com
The Bengals added Texas A&M edge rusher Shemar Stewart to their defense with the No. 17 pick in the first round on Wednesday night. Stewart only had 4.5 sacks in his 37 college games, along with 65 combined tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. However, he vaulted up draft boards with an impressive showing at the NFL Combine. He posted a perfect Relative Athletic Score (RAS) score and ranked near the top of the class in almost every physical measurement. The Bengals will now need to coach Stewart up to realize the most impact for his raw physical talent and develop him into a key part of their defense.Falcons Select Jalon Walker At 15th Overall
Michael Penix Jr. cemented as the clear starter, but Kirk Cousins still on the roster as an obvious trade candidate.Source: NFL.com
After turning the NFL Draft upside down in 2024, there was no such drama from the Atlanta Falcons in 2025 as they took Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker at No. 15 overall. The first linebacker off the board, the former Bulldog likely ended up this high in the draft due to hybrid potential within a defense. At 6-foot-1 and 243 pounds, he's fast enough to be an edge rusher, but cerebral enough to snuff out running plays as an inside linebacker. Atlanta was largely expected to fortify its defense in the first round, and did just that with Walker. The rest of the Falcons' draft could be tougher to predict with quarterback Cardinals Select Walter Nolen At No. 16 In The NFL Draft
Source: NFL.com
The Arizona Cardinals looked to solidify their defense with their first-round pick on Thursday night, taking Walter Nolen, a defensive tackle from Ole Miss at No. 16 overall. Nolen was a first-team AP All-American after setting a career high with 14.0 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in 2024. He was a finalist for the 2024 Outland Trophy after starting all 13 games last season for the Rebels. Nolen becomes the latest part of a major pass-rush overhaul in Arizona this offseason. The team already brought in Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson as free agents and also brought back Calais Campbell to anchor the defensive line. The Cardinals' pass rush should be much improved in 2025, and they'll hope Nolen will be a big part of it for years to come.Tyler Warren Heads To Colts At No. 14
Tyler Warren, who was on the short list of best players in college football last season, become the newest Indianapolis Colts player after the franchise selected him at No. 14 in the 2025 NFL Draft. Surprisingly, the former Nittany Lion was not the first tight end selected after Chicago took Michigan's Colston Loveland at No. 10. Warren was a monster in 2024, catching 104 passes for more than 1,200 yards and eight touchdowns as Penn State advanced the College Football Playoff semifinal. The Colts were consistently linked to tight ends in general and Warren specifically, and in the end, they got their man by hanging tight at No. 14. Now they'll hope for something resembling passing quarterback play between the combination of Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson.Source: NFL.com
Penn State tight end Jeff McNeil Activated From Injured List
Jeff McNeil (oblique) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Thursday. McNeil appears to be ready for the weekend series after missing the beginning of the season due to an oblique issue. The veteran infielder hit .393 during his rehab assignment, so hopefully he can keep the good times rolling on the big league roster. The assumption is that McNeil will see regular playing time against right-handed pitching. Fellow infielder Brett Baty was optioned to Triple-A to make room for McNeil on the active roster. It sounds like McNeil should play quite frequently, but fantasy managers can still take a wait-and-see approach here.Source: Anthony DiComo
New York Mets infielder Dolphins Nab Michigan’s Kenneth Grant At No. 13
Source: NFL.com
The Miami Dolphins opted for defense in the first round by taking Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant at No. 13 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Some NFL talent evaluators thought Grant was as good if not better than Mason Graham, who went fifth overall to Cleveland, and in the end, the pair went only eight picks apart. Grant was a devastating run defender who helped Michigan to the 2023 national title, and now figures to fill a void in Miami left behind by the departure of Christian Wilkins in 2024. The Michigan Man was projected much later in some mock drafts, so Miami will be betting big on its evaluation here.Brett Baty Optioned To Minors
Brett Baty has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday. Well, this was expected with fellow infielder Jeff McNeil (oblique) being activated from the 10-day injured list. Someone needed to be sent down and Baty seemed like the good choice considering his struggles. So far, Baty is slashing .205/.246/.352 with one home run, four RBI, and a 19/3 K/BB ratio this season. The Mets are hopeful that Baty can still be an everyday contributor at some point. For now, Baty will head back to the minors to get everyday at-bats in Triple-A.Source: Anthony DiComo
New York Mets third baseman Cowboys Opt For O-Line, Select Tyler Booker At No. 12
CeeDee Lamb, but instead chose to the take the first guard off the board. Booker is a massive man at 6-foot-5 and 321 pounds, and proved to be a complete interior lineman during his time at Alabama. For a team that really struggled in the run game in 2024, the 'Bama product is a Day One starter who should make the Cowboys' line better. Some certainly will feel this was a reach, but after losing Zack Martin to retirement, it was clearly a position the Cowboys didn't want to wait to address.Source: NFL.com
In one of the few surprises of the early portion of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Alabama guard Tyler Booker at No. 12 overall. The Cowboys were widely believed to be in the market for a wide receiver to play next Zack Gelof To Begin Rehab Assignment Next Week
Zack Gelof (wrist) appears to be inching closer to a return to the field. Gelof hasn't played at all this season after suffering a right wrist injury during spring training. As a result, Gelof underwent surgery, which has kept him sidelined until now. Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said Gelof could begin a rehab assignment as early as next Tuesday. The expectation is Gelof is going to need around 35-40 at-bats before returning to the A's roster. That means, Gelof will probably be on a rehab assignment for around two weeks. Fantasy managers should expect him back in the fold around mid-May. Until then, Luis Urias figures to be the primary option at second base.Source: Sports Illustrated
Athletics infielder 49ers Use 11th Pick On Georgia’s Mykel Williams
Source: NFL.com
The San Francisco 49ers wasted no time calling in the 11th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams. The former five-star recruit managed only 14 sacks in three years in Athens, but played through an ankle injury during the 2024 season. At 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Williams has the look of a dominant edge rusher, and now the 49ers will try their best to turn his acumen into production at the NFL level. No team lost more to free agency than San Francisco, which will now will try to rebuild its roster with 11 picks in this year's draft. Williams figures to be an important first step into re-tooling its defense.Ryan Walker Remains Giants Closer
Ryan Walker has been struggling over the last few outings. Walker allowed only one earned run over his first eight innings of the season. Now, Walker has allowed six earned runs in 0.2 innings over his last two outings. Camilo Doval has earned the last three saves for San Francisco, while Walker got a break. However, manager Bob Melvin said that Walker is going to come into the game if the Giants have a save chance on Friday. Fantasy managers should continue to hold Walker in the hopes that this was just a few bad outings. It would also be smart for fantasy managers who picked up Doval to keep him for a little longer.Source: Justice De Los Santos
San Francisco Giants relief pitcher Colston Loveland Goes To Bears At Pick No. 10 Of NFL Draft

Kumar Rocker Heads To Injured List
Kumar Rocker (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day injured list on Thursday. This comes a day after Rocker gave up five runs over 1 2/3 innings of work during Wednesday's game against the Athletics. Rangers' manager Bruce Bochy said Rocker is dealing with a mild right shoulder impingement. The young right-hander has only made it through the fifth inning once so far this season. He has a ton of potential, but a little time off might be good for him. Jack Leiter (hand) is expected to rejoin the rotation soon, so he'll likely take over the void in the rotation.Source: Shawn McFarland
Texas Rangers starting pitcher Saints Draft Kelvin Banks Jr. At Ninth Overall
Shedeur Sanders with the ninth overall pick to boost their offensive line. Banks was a little banged up at Texas in 2024 and therefore wasn't as productive. However, he showed an abundance of talent in 2023 for the Longhorns. The 21-year-old offensive lineman is very smooth and fluid but possesses heavy hands. Banks is great in pass protection when he's healthy, but the Saints still need an answer under center if Derek Carr (shoulder) isn't ready for the start of the 2025 season. Banks will need to learn to finish his blocks more consistently, but he's a fine building block in the trenches for a Saints team that has plenty of other needs as well.Source: NFL.com

Jets Draft Armand Membou At Seventh Overall
Justin Fields and running back Breece Hall if he remains with the organization heading into the 2025 season this fall.Source: NFL.com
The New York Jets selected Missouri right tackle Armand Membou with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Membou showed at the scouting combine that he has the ability to be a Pro Bowl right tackle as he transitions to the NFL. He has very powerful hands and is a plug-and-play guy right away for a Jets offensive line that is already pretty strong on the inside. The 21-year-old stands at 6-foot-4 and 332 pounds. It's not prototypical size for a right tackle, but Membou makes up for it with his power and showed that he was plenty dominant for the Tigers in 2024. He plays with quickness and plenty of body control as well. The addition of Membou is great news for new Jets quarterback Ashton Jeanty Goes To Raiders At No. 6 Overall
Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Raiders were connected to Jeanty all along as they looked for a true RB1 in their backfield. Jeanty was the Heisman Trophy runner-up and is a true workhorse with elite game-breaking ability and tackle-breaking abilities. Ball security will be key for Jeanty heading to the next level, but he should be an immediate impact player for the Raiders backfield and in fantasy. Veteran Raheem Mostert will back him up in Vegas in his first year in the NFL. Jeanty is built like a body builder and has been compared to Emmitt Smith. He has future All-Pro talent and has the chops to become one of the next faces of the NFL if he can avoid serious injuries. Jeanty will be a top-three selection in rookie-only drafts this fall.Source: NFL.com
The Las Vegas Raiders selected Boise State running back Browns Take Mason Graham At Fifth Overall In 2025 NFL Draft
Source: NFL.com
The Cleveland Browns selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Cleveland came into Thursday evening with the No. 2 overall pick, but they completed a blockbuster deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to move down to No. 5. Graham is a two-time All-American from Los Angeles and was also a star wrestler in high school. The 21-year-old is versatile and disruptive, although his numbers didn't exactly stand out at the collegiate level. Graham has the ability to make tackles everywhere and has strong hands at the point of contact. The Browns will now try to school him up as a pure pass-rusher to help out Myles Garrett on the outside. If Graham develops into more of a pure pass-rusher, Cleveland will be very satisfied with his pick after dropping back several spots for more draft capital.Patriots Select Will Campbell At Fourth Overall
Drake Maye. There are concerns about Campbell's arm length as he heads to the next level, but he can make up for it with elite athleticism. Campbell has always been a left tackle in his football career and is expected to stick at the position as he heads to the NFL to protect Maye's blind side. The 21-year-old is excellent in run protection as well as protecting the quarterback. The Louisiana native stands at 6-foot-6, 319 pounds. Despite having short arm, Campbell has elite hands and uses them as well as anybody in this draft at the position. If he stays healthy, Campbell should be a staple for the Pats on the left side of the O-line.Source: NFL.com
The New England Patriots selected LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. This one was expected as the Patriots look to bolster their offensive line in front of young quarterback
