Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (elbow) was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup when they concluded a series against the Houston Astros. Buxton was pulled from Saturday's contest after being hit by a pitch in the elbow. While he was initially in Sunday's lineup, the team will opt to exercise caution and give him an extra day off. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his status leading up to their next game on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds. Instead, the Twins will give Harrison Bader the starting nod in center field. Buxton has enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign, holding a .273/.338/.502 line with 11 home runs and 12 stolen bases. He has generated a stellar 53.8% hard-hit rate with a .475 xSLG.
