Xavier Worthy Officially Questionable for Week 3
Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is officially questionable for the Week 3 game on Sunday night against the New York Giants. Worthy was limited all week after suffering a dislocated right shoulder and torn labrum in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The 22-year-old did not play in last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl rematch, but he apparently will try to give it a go this weekend if he's cleared. With kickoff for Chiefs and Giants not coming until late on Sunday night, we'd advise fantasy managers to play it safe and go in another direction, even in a tempting matchup. If Worthy is active, he'll also be susceptible to a lower number of snaps if he's not 100%. If he misses a second straight game, Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton will start in three-receiver sets with Rashee Rice still suspended.
