Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto (hand) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday, retroactive to Sept. 13. This isn't shocking considering Neto hasn't been able to take the field since injuring his hand last Thursday. The Angels tried to take it day by day, but sadly, Neto wasn't progressing quickly enough. There is a chance that Neto can return in time for the final handful of games in the regular season. Otherwise, Neto will finish the season with a .257/.319/.474 slash line with 26 home runs, 62 RBI, and 26 stolen bases in 128 games. Denzer Guzman figures to see a majority of the playing time at shortstop while Neto is out. He could offer some deep league value down the stretch of the season.--Andy Webb
