Edmonton Oilers right wing Corey Perry matched his postseason career high with his 10th playoff goal of the year in Saturday's 5-2 defeat against the Florida Panthers. He was on target with 3:13 left to play in regulation, cutting the deficit to two goals before Florida iced the game with an empty-netter. Perry turned 40 a month ago, but he has been one of Edmonton's best players since the Western Conference Finals, scoring five goals and seven points in the last seven games. In total, he has managed 14 points (10 goals, four assists) in 21 outings this postseason. Unfortunately for Perry, it now seems likely that he will have to suck up another Stanley Cup Finals defeat, with Edmonton down 3-2 in the series.--Taavi Pailk
