Jo Adell Hits Home Run No. 12 on Monday
Jo Adell went 2-for-4 with a single, a home run, and three RBI in his team's 7-4 win on Monday night. Adell is up to 12 long balls on the season, and six of those have come in his last nine games. Over that span, he is 9-for-29 (.310) with 10 RBI, a stolen base, and a 57.1% hard-hit rate. His home run on Monday was a solo blast in the fourth inning off lefty Jeffrey Springs. He has only hit .156 against lefties in limited opportunities this season, so the home run is a great sign for him in that split going forward. The 26-year-old has plenty of prospect pedigree and has shown he can get hot for stretches, but he hasn't been able to be consistent enough to be a mixed league option in the past. For now, he is a DFS and streaming option to consider while he's hot and will be worth holding at least until he cools off.
