Ivan Herrera Jacks Three-Run Home Run Monday
Ivan Herrera went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in his team's 5-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He added a single for his second straight two-hit outing. The 25-year-old blasted his seventh long ball of 2025 off Blue Jays pitcher Yariel Rodriguez in the bottom of the eighth inning to cap a four-run rally and take their first lead of the matchup, 4-3. However, it wasn't enough to pick up the win. Herrera tallied a lone extra-base hit over a 15-game stretch that started in mid-May, but he's picked it up since then with three over the last five days -- including two homers. The Panama City native has cooled some, but is still slashing a robust .322/.397/.568 with eight doubles, 31 RBI, and 19 runs scored (34 appearances).
