K.J. Osborn Heading Back To Washington
K.J. Osborn, according to team reporter John Keim. The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers by Washington in November following his release by the New England Patriots and appeared in one game for the Commanders. The 2020 fifth-round pick out of Miami by the Minnesota Vikings has collected 165 receptions for 1,902 yards and 16 touchdowns in 66 career games. Washington also re-signed wideout Noah Brown and traded for Pro Bowler Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason, so it's tough to expect Osborn to have any fantasy value in 2025.

Noah Brown Returning To Washington On One-Year Deal
Noah Brown (kidney) is re-signing with the Washington Commanders on Thursday on a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. Brown, who caught the Hail Mary touchdown pass in the wild win over the Chicago Bears during the 2024 regular season, caught 35 of his 56 targets for 453 yards and one touchdown in 11 regular-season games (nine starts) in his first year in D.C. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old suffered a kidney laceration late in the year and finished the season on Injured Reserve. He should be all healed up for the start of the 2025 season this fall, though, and will give the Commanders additional receiving depth behind top wideouts Terry McLaurin and newcomer Deebo Samuel Sr. While Brown did have a bigger role on offense right before his injury, he'll have a limited fantasy ceiling as the No. 3 as long as both McLaurin and Samuel stay healthy.

Marcus Mariota Returning To Commanders On One-Year Deal
Marcus Mariota is signing a one-year deal to return to the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The former No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans spent last season with Washington and primarily backed up Jayden Daniels. Mariota threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns in three games a season ago. While Mariota clearly has no path to the starting job, he will be on the fantasy football radar in deep Superflex or two-QB leagues as a deep bench stash. Should Daniels have to miss any time next season, Mariota would have at least low-end QB2 upside playing with wideouts Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. along with tight end Zach Ertz in Kliff Kingsbury's offense.

Commanders Re-Sign Jeremy McNichols To One-Year Deal
Jeremy McNichols to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, a source tells ESPN's John Keim. Although McNichols wasn't on the fantasy radar at all last year in his first year in D.C., he was a valuable member of the team's RB room as a backup for his blitz pickups while also contributing a career-high 267 rushing yards and a career-high four rushing touchdowns on 55 carries over 17 regular-season games (one start). He also had nine catches for 27 yards and added nine yards and a touchdown on five carries in three playoff games. With both Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler returning to the Commanders' backfield in 2025, McNichols will open the year as the No. 3 RB and will have a bigger role on special teams as a return man. The 29-year-old has only 625 rushing yards and five rushing TDs on 145 carries over seven NFL seasons.

Commanders Hosting Michael Gallup For Visit
Michael Gallup for a visit this week. Gallup was released by the Dallas Cowboys last offseason and signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. He didn't last long in Las Vegas before deciding to retire from the NFL. His play has declined since suffering a torn ACL in 2021, which was likely a big factor as to why he decided to hang it up. Now, Gallup is attempting a come back and will see if the Commanders are a potential fit for him. Wherever he lands, Gallup will most likely just be a depth player and probably won't be someone worth snagging on draft day.

Commanders Acquire Laremy Tunsil From Texans
Jayden Daniels, who looked excellent in his rookie season in 2024 and led the Commanders to an appearances in the NFC Championship. The 30-year-old Tunsil has been one of the most reliable left tackles in the league and will provide stability on Daniels' blind side heading into the 2025 campaign. Tunsil was the 13th overall pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2016 out of Mississippi. All five of his Pro Bowl seasons have come in the last six years while in Houston.

Dyami Brown Set To Join Jaguars On $10 Million Deal
Dyami Brown, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The 2021 third-round pick out of North Carolina caught fewer than 15 passes and posted fewer than 200 years in each of his first three NFL seasons, but he emerged in 2024 in his final season with Washington. Brown posted 30 receptions for 308 yards and one touchdown during the regular season before tallying 14 receptions for 229 yards and a score in three postseason games. He's now headed to Duval County to catch passes from Trevor Lawrence, but his fantasy football upside is likely limited behind Brian Thomas Jr. The team will likely look to add more pass-catchers this offseason after letting Christian Kirk and Evan Engram go.

Commanders Exploring Trade For Trey Hendrickson
Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Washington has plenty of salary cap space this year and is expected to make a splash on the defensive side of the ball.
Source: The Athletic - Dianna Russini
The Washington Commanders are one of many NFL teams exploring a potential trade for Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson, sources tell The Athletic's Dianna Russini. The Bengals granted Hendrickson permission to seek a trade last Thursday as he seeks a long-term contract extension as he heads into the final year of his deal in 2025. An NFL executive said the Bengals are looking for "significant trade compensation in return." The 30-year-old veteran led the league with 17.5 sacks last year and also recorded 17.5 sacks in 2023, so it's certainly going to take a lot to pry him away from the Bengals. Cincy would love to sign Hendrickson to a long-term extension, but they are also trying to do the same with both star receivers Source: The Athletic - Dianna Russini
Zach Ertz Re-Signs With The Commanders
Zach Ertz signed a one-year, $6.25 million contract with the Washington Commanders on Saturday. The deal includes up to $9 million in incentives. Ertz returns to the Commanders after a productive season in 2024 as quarterback Jayden Daniels' safety valve, owning 18% of Washington's target share. The three-time Pro Bowler caught 66 of 91 targets for 674 yards and seven touchdowns over 17 games. It was the first time since 2018 that Ertz played an entire season. With the Commanders trading for wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. in March, Ertz will have more competition for targets in 2025. Despite competing for targets with Terry McLaurin and Samuel, Ertz remains a decent fantasy option in the tight end position. As Daniels' primary middle-of-the-field option, Ertz is a high-end TE2 heading into early best-ball drafts.
