Oskar Sundqvist Considered Day-To-Day
2 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Oskar Sundqvist is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He was hurt in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to New Jersey and should be regarded as questionable for Thursday's encounter with Boston. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a nice start to the year on Detroit's third line, collecting five points across six outings. Adam Erne skated in his spot in Wednesday's practice and he will replace Sundqvist on the third line Thursday if the Swedish forward isn't healthy enough to play. The pesky winger has found some form lately with assists in back-to-back games, but Erne has got only three points for the year and certainly isn't a reliable source for offensive stats.
