Nick Castellanos Picks Up Two Hits In Win Over Cubs
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a double in the team's 2-1 win over the visiting Chicago Cubs on Sunday. The double was Castellanos' first extra-base hit since May 9. Despite the lack of power of late, the 31-year-old outfielder is hitting .303 (54-for-178) with 15 doubles, five home runs, 26 RBI, two stolen bases and 32 runs scored in 192 plate appearances and 46 games so far this year. Fantasy managers certainly can't complain about that after he hit just .263 with 13 home runs and 62 RBI in 136 games in his first year in Philly in 2022. He's hitting .288 (19-for-66) with five doubles, only one home run, nine RBI and two thefts in 17 games in the month of May.
