Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba (upper body) won't be in the lineup on Friday against St. Louis. The 27-year-old appeared to have hurt his right shoulder on Tuesday against Nashville and is forced to spend some time on the sidelines. The team initially feared the worst, but head coach Dean Evason noted on Thursday that the injury is not as serious as originally expected. Dumba is set to be re-evaluated again after Friday. He's been a very valuable piece for the team on the blue line and Evason no doubt hopes to get him back as soon as possible. Dumba averages the second-most minutes on the team with 23:10, has picked up 26 points in 56 games this season, and also boasts 113 hits and 83 blocks. With Jon Merrill (upper body) still out as well, Evason has a lot of thinking to do ahead of Friday's contest.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
