Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba has been placed on Injured Reserve on Monday after suffering a lower-body injury in Saturday's contest versus the Colorado Avalanche. The 26-year-old hobbled off the ice in the third period after appearing to have his right leg bend underneath him in an awkward fall to the ice. Prior to the injury, Dumba had contributed four points (three goals, one assists), 25 shots, nine blocks and 18 hits in nine games played. Expect defenseman Jonas Brodin (7% rostered in Yahoo leagues) to take Dumba's place on the Wild's top power-play unit and try to play a bigger role offensively at even-strength.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
