Minnesota Wild forward Mason Shaw has received a two-game suspension for kneeing San Jose's Evgeny Svechnikov in Thursday's matchup. The incident occurred in the second period and Shaw was hit with a five-minute penalty and a game misconduct on the night. The 24-year-old will have to sit out Tuesday's clash with the Jets and Thursday's meeting with the Stars. Shaw has been a very solid contributor from the fourth line this season with 11 points in 28 games. He has also tallied 49 hits while firing off 46 shots. The penalty box is a very familiar spot for Shaw, with him having picked up 49 penalty minutes in 2022-23.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
