Seattle Kraken goaltender Martin Jones made it back-to-back shutouts for himself on Thursday when the team ended Boston's season-opening home point streak at 22 games with a 3-0 victory. Brandon Tanev, Eeli Tolvanen and Jaden Schwartz brought the offense, while Jones frustrated the Bruins with 27 saves. He recorded back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 2015 and became the first Kraken goaltender to record consecutive shutouts. The big performance helped Jones to remain undefeated in six January starts. Jones has had a few very rough campaigns, but he appears to find himself in a comfortable situation in Seattle, posting a 20-5-3 record with three shutouts in total. Only two goaltenders have more wins this season, although Jones' 2.69 goals-against average and .898 save percentage still have plenty of room for improvement.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
