Marquise Brown Dealing With Foot Injury
2 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said that wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) was dealing with a foot issue on Tuesday and was held out of mandatory minicamp practice for precautionary reasons because of his previous foot issues. Brown should be full-go for the start of training camp at the end of July, and he'll be Arizona's top target through the air now that DeAndre Hopkins is gone. The 26-year-old speedster played in a career-low 12 games (10 starts) in 2022 due to injury, finishing with 67 receptions for 709 yards and three touchdowns on 107 targets. Working against him is the fact that quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) may not be ready until midseason. As a result, Brown should be targeted as more of a WR3 in fantasy drafts.
