Jauan Jennings to Operate as Top WR in Week 6 if Healthy
Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) could be in for a significant workload in Week 6, assuming he's healthy enough to play. Through three games this season, Jennings has caught nine of 19 targets for 129 yards and a touchdown, ranking as the WR40 on a per-game basis. The fifth-year wideout has battled through a string of injuries, including calf, ankle, shoulder, and rib injuries, that have limited his availability early in the year. Jennings returned to practice on Monday, which is a positive sign, especially with second-year receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) trending in the opposite direction. If Pearsall is unable to suit up, Jennings would likely operate as the 49ers' WR1 heading into Week 6. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on San Francisco's midweek injury reports, as Wednesday and Thursday's updates will be crucial in determining Jennings' and Pearsall's availability against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
