Florida State cornerback Quindarrius Jones (undisclosed) suffered a season-ending injury early in the loss to Miami on Saturday, according to head coach Mike Norvell. He is set to undergo surgery this week and begin the road to recovery. Jones tallied seven tackles (five solo) and one pass deflection through the team's first five games of the season as a rotational defensive back. "Obviously unfortunate news for him, unfortunate news for us," Norvell said. "I know he'll bounce back from it, but it's just one of those things that it does shake up our defensive backfield." The Noles likely cannot afford another loss if they want to play in the College Football Playoff, but they will likely be favored in all seven of their remaining games. Next up for Florida State is a home stand against Pittsburgh in Week 7.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
