Viktor Arvidsson Activated From Injured Reserve
Boston Bruins winger Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) was activated from Injured Reserve on Tuesday, paving the way for him to rejoin the lineup against the Detroit Red Wings. The Swedish veteran has missed seven games due to a lower-body injury. In 20 outings this season, Arvidsson has registered six goals and four assists with 52 shots on goal. His return will bump Jeffrey Viel out of the lineup. On Tuesday, Arvidsson may see increased usage due to David Pastrnak's (undisclosed) continued absence. He will start the game on the second line and is expected to link up with the first power-play unit.
