St. Louis Blues left wing Nathan Walker (upper body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and is projected to miss eight weeks. The veteran forward has picked up nine points (three goals, six assists) in 25 contests this season while averaging 3.8 hits per game. Injuries continue to pile up for the Blues, who have been without Pius Suter (lower body) recently and just lost Jimmy Snuggerud (wrist) and Alexey Toropchenko (leg). At least Suter is expected to make his return on Thursday night against the Boston Bruins. Due to the injury situation in the attacking department, Suter may see more ice time than usual upon his return.--Taavi Pailk
