St. Louis Blues center Oskar Sundqvist (lower body) is out week-to-week, the team announced Tuesday. The Swedish veteran sustained a lower-body injury during Sunday's practice. General manager Doug Armstrong ruled Sundqvist out for Thursday's season opener against the Minnesota Wild and for the team's first road trip of the year. After hosting Minnesota, the Blues will travel to Canada to take on the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks. Alexandre Texier or Nathan Walker are competing to make the opening-night lineup in place of Sundqvist. The two scored just 27 points combined last season and have nothing to offer fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk
