Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Cam York (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve, and it's unclear how much time he will miss. "At the moment it's a day-to-day thing," Flyers general manager Danny Briere said Monday. "We're trying to find out a little bit more. Are we looking at a week? Are we looking at two weeks? Are we looking at two days? That's what we're trying to figure out right now." Once he recovers, York will look to bounce back from a quiet campaign. In 2024-25, he recorded 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in 66 games. If York is out for an extended period, Nick Seeler and Adam Ginning will take on larger roles on Philadelphia's left side of the defense.--Taavi Pailk
