Luis Robert Jr. Absent Against Guardians
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (hip) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Cleveland Guardians. Robert exited Tuesday's game prematurely in the eighth inning due to right-hip tightness, and he's out on Wednesday as a result. The oft-injured 25-year-old is currently being considered day-to-day, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him miss more than one game this week. Given all the time Robert has missed in his career due to injuries, fantasy managers should prepare for the worst. Clint Frazier is manning center field and hitting seventh on Wednesday against Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill. In 49 games so far this year, Robert is hitting a respectable .273 (50-for-183) with 13 doubles, 13 home runs, 29 RBI and two stolen bases.
