Kris Bryant Back In Lineup Saturday, Batting Leadoff
Kris Bryant has been cleared to return to the starting nine for Saturday’s contest against Milwaukee. Bryant had missed the past two games due to a left wrist/ring finger injury, but after going through pre-game warm-ups, he got the green light to reclaim his spot atop the batting order. Bryant has been slow out of the gates in 2020, slashing .196/.315/.391 in his first 12 contests, although he homered the last time that he took the field Wednesday. He will be matched up against Brewers right-hander Adrian Houser, but will have to combat a strong wind that is blowing in at Wrigley.
