Jonatan Clase Producing Since Return To Triple-A
6 months agoSeattle Mariners outfield prospect Jonatan Clase was sent down to Triple-A Tacoma on June 3 and has been productive upon his return to the Rainiers. Clase is hitting .300 with Tacoma in June with a home run, five RBI, and six stolen bases. The No. 10 prospect for the Mariners started the season at Triple-A and got a taste of the big leagues, hitting .176 in 34 at-bats with three RBI and two stolen bases. The 22-year-old boasts top-end speed (70-grade) and translated that to 79 steals across two levels of the minors in 2023. Those wheels will play at any level, but Clase's next step is proving he can consistently get on base. If he improves in that regard, he could be an impact player in fantasy leagues of all sizes upon his return to Seattle.
