Jerick McKinnon Looks Comfortable Catching Passes
7 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon caught several passes out of the backfield on Tuesday in organized team activities and looked very comfortable. McKinnon will have an incredibly high fantasy and real-life ceiling as San Fran's primary back in 2018, especially if he's also catching most of the passes out of the backfield. The Sacramento Bee's Matt Barrow thinks the over/under on McKinnon's catches this year might be 73, which is the highest amount of catches Devonta Freeman had under then offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan in Atlanta. It's safe to say that McKinnon's fantasy value is soaring heading into his first season with the Niners as an RB1, but that also could make him a big bust candidate. He'll be a much safer selection in PPR formats.
