Ivan Fedotov Agrees To Two-Year Extension With Flyers
8 months agoThe Philadelphia Flyers and goaltender Ivan Fedotov have agreed to a two-year contract extension that carries a $3.25 million average annual value. The 27-year-old was drafted by the Flyers in the seventh round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft but didn't join the team until late in the 2023-24 regular season after his campaign with the KHL's CSKA Moscow came to a conclusion. Fedotov struggled in his limited NHL time, posting a 4.95 goals-against average and an .811 save percentage in three appearances but was largely brilliant throughout his lengthy stint in the KHL. He posted a 2.37 GAA and a .914 Sv% across 44 games with CSKA Moscow this season and has been as good as a 2.10 GAA and a .931 Sv% across 32 outings back in the 2019-20 season
