Derrick Henry Wants To Play For Contender
11 months agoTennessee Titans impending free-agent running back Derrick Henry isn't shutting the door on a return to the Titans, but he also wants to play for a contender. "I'll always be a Titan, even if I don't come back. At the end of the day, I want to win the Super Bowl. Wherever that is that gives me the best chance, that's what I want to do. I don't have no bad blood or feel no type of way if I'm not back. It's just what was supposed to happen. The story is already written, we're all just living it," Henry said. With the Titans heading into a rebuilding phase after firing head coach Mike Vrabel, it's highly unlikely Henry comes back to Tennessee. The 30-year-old four-time Pro Bowler had five 1,000-yard seasons in his time with the Titans and said he still feels "like I can run for another 2,000."
