Philadelphia Flyers forward Derick Brassard (hip) could be back in the lineup next week when the team returns to action on Dec. 29 against Seattle. He's missed five games with a hip strain and has played just once since Nov. 23. The veteran has done well when healthy this season, going for 11 points in 18 games with 22 shots and 28 hits. Brassard had just started to log some nice minutes in the top six before getting injured.
