Craig Smith Continues Hot Stretch With Two Points
Boston Bruins right wing Craig Smith dropped down to the second line for Tuesday's meeting with Buffalo, but still kept his point streak going with a goal and assist in a 3-2 shootout win. The veteran winger has points in five straight games, producing three multi-point efforts during the streak. Getting dropped from the first line isn't actually bad news for the 31-year-old, as he gets a chance to skate with Taylor Hall. The former Sabre had three shots and one hit in his team debut, logging 16:43 of ice time. Smith's next chance to keep his point streak alive comes Thursday against the Islanders.
