Chargers Interview Brian Callahan for Offensive-Coordinator Job
The Los Angeles Chargers confirmed on Friday that they have interviewed former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan for their offensive-coordinator position, according to Omar Navarro of Chargers.com. Callahan was the head coach for Tennessee in 2024 and 2025 before being fired midseason this year. Before joining the Titans, Callahan had 14 years of coaching experience in the NFL, including five seasons as the Cincinnati Bengals' OC after being hired in 2019. With Cincy, he helped the team to two AFC North titles, two AFC Championship appearances, and a trip to a Super Bowl. The Bengals' offense ranked among the top units in his final three years at the helm, but he wasn't able to get the Titans turned around in his brief stint there. The Bolts are looking to replace Greg Roman. A move to Callahan would be a seismic shift away from a run-heavy offense and toward more of a pass-heavy approach.
