Browns Expected To Pursue Terrelle Pryor
7 years agoThe Cleveland Browns are expected to pursue Washington Redskins impending free-agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, and The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot thinks Pryor will have interest in a reunion as well. Pryor was a free-agent bust for the Redskins, but he was also plagued by an ankle injury after having surgery in November. Pryor caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown in nine games before his season-ending surgery. The former quarterback excelled for Cleveland in 2016, but a return to Cleveland won't necessarily boost his fantasy value back again, as Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon are firmly in the mix as two of their top receivers. It's possible 2016 was Pryor's peak.
