Breece Hall May Not Have Seamless Return
2 years agoThe New York Jets have been resolute in their belief that second-year running back Breece Hall (knee) will return to form in 2023 coming off an ACL tear, but The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt is more skeptical that Hall will have a seamless return. The Jets are expecting Hall to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, but he's unlikely to be full-go for training camp next month. It's entirely possible that Hall is slowly ramped up in the first half of the season, which is why the Jets are considering adding free-agent running back Dalvin Cook at the right price. The 22-year-old had the look of a strong RB1 in his rookie season before the knee injury, and there's more optimism with quarterback Aaron Rodgers now in town. However, expectations may need to be tempered if Hall isn't 100% when Week 1 kicks off.
