Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler has been ruled out of Friday's game against Colorado with an upper-body injury. He hasn't been practicing with the team since Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Detroit and is considered day-to-day. Wheeler has struggled to stay in the lineup all season long, skating in just 57 games. He's done well when healthy, going for 54 points with 56 hits. Evgeny Svechnikov is taking over his spot on the second line Friday night. The 25-year-old has shown some good ability, but he heads into the game on an eight-game point drought, so fantasy managers should keep their expectations low. Svechnikov has managed 18 points in 61 games overall this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
