BALLER MOVE: Start in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1/TE2 depending on league size
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett has not had the year we all envisioned. He currently ranks as the TE22 in PPR formats while averaging just 7.6 fantasy points per game. Now, he'll enter Week 16 against the Buffalo Bills in a tough matchup. The Bills have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends this year. But they have also given up at least six catches to that position group in back-to-back games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.
That makes Everett a solid tight end start in 16-plus leagues. With Keenan Allen (heel) out once again, quarterback Easton Stick could look the tight end's way more in this contest. Last week, he caught five of eight targets for 41 yards in Stick's first career start and appeared to be a security blanket for the inexperienced signal-caller.
Despite the quarterback play, Everett seems to have a safe floor in fantasy. He has caught at least four passes in four straight games while totaling eight-plus PPR fantasy points in every contest during that stretch. With the Chargers being huge underdogs on Saturday, they will likely lean on the pass more. That helps Everett's case in fantasy in Week 16.
