Malik Nabers Injury Update
The New York Giants are "just playing it super cautious" with wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) this offseason, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Nabers missed organized team activities and mandatory minicamp with a toe injury that has bothered him since college, but the Giants have no concerns and he's expected to be ready for the start of training camp in late July.

The 21-year-old former first-rounder didn't miss a single game in his rookie campaign in 2024 due to his toe ailment and finished as the WR7 in half-PPR scoring with 109 receptions on 170 targets for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games played. Those numbers are impressive on their own before considering the shaky QB play Nabers dealt with. Russell Wilson may not be much better in 2025, but Nabers should once again be heavily targeted and should be a safe WR1 target for fantasy managers entering his second year.
Rashee Rice Injury Update
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that he expects both wide receiver Rashee Rice (knee) and offensive tackle Josh Simmons (knee) to be full participants at the start of training camp at the end of July. Rice played in only four games last year before suffering a season-ending LCL tear. The injury is behind the 25-year-old, though, and he'll be ready to rock for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this September after he was a full participant in OTAs and minicamp this spring.

Before his injury last year, Rice was the clear WR1 for quarterback Patrick Mahomes and had 24 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns in the first three games. However, he has a possible suspension hanging over his head for a hit-and-run incident in March of last year, which makes him more of a high-end WR3 target in fantasy drafts this fall.
Joe Mixon Injury Update
Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon (ankle, foot) is expected to be ready at some point during training camp this summer, according to KPRC 2 Sports' Aaron Wilson. It's a bit ambiguous, but Wilson also goes on to say that it's possible Mixon will be taking part in workouts on the first day of camp in late July. The 28-year-old apparently aggravated ankle and foot injuries that he battled through in 2024, which is why he didn't take part in OTAs this spring.

Barring a setback, Mixon should be ready for the start of the regular season, but it's certainly something that fantasy managers should be keeping close tabs on after he was in a protective brace. He finished as the RB15 in half-PPR leagues in his first year in Houston but was noticeably quiet toward the end of the year after battling ankle issues. There are injury concerns with Mixon, but he should at least be a high-end RB2 with plenty of volume if he can stay on the field.
Brandon Aiyuk Injury Update
San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch said on the Pat McAfee Show last week that wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is making great progress in his rehab from a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee that he suffered last October. "Brandon is doing a tremendous job coming back. It's kind of incredible how well he's healing, and he's putting in the work," Lynch said. Lynch continued to stress that Aiyuk is still an important part of the team going forward, although he's probably not going to be able to make his 2025 debut until around midseason.
"Brandon Aiyuk is such a big part of who we are..
We've had some great conversations and he's doing a tremendous job coming back from that injury..
We're proud of him and he's an important part of this team" ~ @JohnLynch49ers #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/fdaaVNsy69

After a contract dispute last summer, the 27-year-old caught just 25 passes for 374 yards and no touchdowns before his season-ending knee injury seven games into the season. When he returns, he'll battle for targets with George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall. There are a lot of question marks surrounding Aiyuk going into 2025
J.J. McCarthy Injury Update
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy (knee) looked "a lot stronger" at this point of offseason workouts compared to the beginning. "They like the way he's throwing the ball," said Fowler. "They feel very comfortable with where he's at going into training camp." The 22-year-old suffered a meniscus tear last summer, preventing him from suiting up for his rookie campaign. Fortunately, it appears that the injury is behind him.

With receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison at McCarthy's disposal, he should have some quality showings this season. Naturally, there could be some growing pains. Still, the young signal-caller definitely has a higher ceiling than most around his age, making him a perfect addition to any dynasty roster. His redraft outlook might also improve, assuming he continues to impress in the next few months.
Anthony Richardson Sr. Injury Update
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. (shoulder) said that he will be ready for training camp in late July after missing mandatory minicamp with a right-shoulder injury. "I'm all good ... not really even a bump in the road. I feel like I tripped, I fell. Just got back up and hit the ground running again," Richardson said. The former first-rounder aggravated his AC joint, which he injured as a rookie in 2023 and needed surgery on, during OTAs this spring.

Head coach Shane Steichen said he didn't put a timeline on Richardson's recovery earlier this month, but all signs are pointing to him being ready for the start of training camp. It's good news for Richardson, but the lost time this offseason has put Daniel Jones in the lead in the QB competition going into the 2025 season. Richardson has a lot of ground to make up and continues to lose fantasy value after being hyped as a QB1 last fall.
Marquise Brown Injury Update
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown said he feels 100% healthy entering the 2025 season following an injury-riddled campaign in 2024. The former first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens suffered a significant shoulder injury last preseason and did not appear in a game until the Week 16 win over the Houston Texans. While his opportunities to show what he can do in Kansas City were limited, he did draw at least five targets in four of his five games, including the postseason.

However, he did not share the field with Rashee Rice, who looked like he would be the team's target hog before suffering an early-season knee injury that held him out of the remainder of the year. Brown has missed at least two games in four of his six NFL campaigns, but he remains an intriguing late-round fantasy option in Patrick Mahomes' passing offense. He's unlikely to be a weekly, reliable producer, but he's a fine best-ball dart throw. The Oklahoma product has tallied 322 receptions for 3,735 yards and 28 touchdowns in 74 career games.
