DeVonta Smith's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit DeVonta Smith for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is an up-and-coming star in the NFL. Smith is the WR16 for the year, averaging 12.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
While he is a top-20 wide receiver this season, Smith has been hot and cold on a weekly basis. The star receiver has scored fewer than 7.9 fantasy points in nearly 40% of the games. However, he has averaged 16.5 fantasy points per game in the other eight contests in 2023.
Last week, Smith had only 7.8 fantasy points in the blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys. It broke a five-game streak in which the wide receiver scored at least 12.6 fantasy points. While he had a poor fantasy performance, the former Alabama star made a few impressive plays in the loss.
Monday night, Smith faces the Seattle Seahawks. The NFC West team has struggled to slow down wide receivers, giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game (31.6). They have surrendered at least 188 receiving yards, one touchdown, and 44.1 fantasy points to wide receivers in back-to-back matchups.
Fantasy players can plug Smith into their WR2 spot this week and not think twice about it.
