DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/30/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 30, 2021. Euan Leith provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! It's the last day of November, and it's hard to believe the NBA season is already a quarter of the way through. Last year's Finals teams, the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks, are surging up their conference standings with the Suns on a 16 game winning streak and the Bucks on a seven-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Warriors top the Association with an 18-2 record as they look to write another chapter in their dynasty. Fortunately for us, we get the Warriors-Suns on this five-game slate, and I can't wait to watch.

The Lakers-Kings and Warriors-Suns stick out from a DFS perspective with the two highest over/unders on the slate and the two fastest projected pace matchups among the five games. However, my eye has turned to the Grizzlies-Raptors contest where two teams with terrible defenses meet. With Ja Morant (knee) and OG Anunoby (hip) sidelined, there are a lot of offensive opportunities for their healthy teammates to take on.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/30/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Fred VanVleet - PG/SG, TOR vs. MEM ($8,700)

It's tough to picture where the Raptors would be without Fred VanVleet right now. He's the best and healthiest member of this Toronto team and is a highly bankable asset in our DFS formats. Across 20 games, he's averaging 1.07 FPPM (fantasy points per minute), and it gives him a rock-solid floor considering he averages 38.1 MPG (minutes per game). Over his last three games, the 27-year old guard averages 19 points on 52.9 percent shooting, with 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 4.0 three-pointers on 44.4 percent shooting, and 2.7 stocks (steals+blocks) in 38.3 minutes.

Combine his recent uptick in form with a Grizzlies defense allowing the second-most FPPG (fantasy points per game) to point guards this season, and you can see why FVV is such an attractive option on Tuesday's slate. Plus, the Grizzlies average nearly four more possessions per game than the Raptors, so it's also a pace-up situation for VanVleet and his teammates.

Patty Mills - PG/SG, BKN vs. NYK ($4,800)

The news came down yesterday about Joe Harris requiring surgery to repair his ankle injury. So, it was pretty surprising to see Patty Mill's price tag remain below $5,000, considering the run of form he's been in since Harris went down. In the seven games (six starts) since his teammate went down, the Australian averaged 18.4 points, 5.1 threes, and 2.3 assists in 34 minutes.

While it is a lot of points and threes, and not a lot else, Mills' hot-shooting means he will continue to get opportunities in an offense catered towards Kevin Durant and James Harden. Mills is hitting 57.5 percent of his 11.4 field goals and 57.1 percent of his nine three-point attempts each night. Also, the Knicks are the fourth-worst defense against shooting guards in 2021, and it provides Mills with a plus matchup in the battle for New York.

Others to consider: Stephen Curry ($11,400), De'Aaron Fox ($8,400), De'Anthony Melton ($5,100)

DraftKings Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

LeBron James - PG/SF, LAL vs. SAC ($10,400)

Despite carrying an injury designation into tonight's contest, LeBron James will be a popular play against the Sacramento Kings. Since returning from his one-game suspension, LBJ has been posting some eye-boggling numbers for DFS. James averages 34 points on 24.7 shots in those three games, with 8.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 threes, and 2.3 stocks per night. Of course, a triple-OT game against these same Kings certainly helps his numbers, but he's still been dominant in his regular, 48-minute contests.

The injury is worth keeping an eye on as he's been carrying that tag for a while yet playing each night. If James can't go, pivoting to Anthony Davis for $200 more is probably the way to go. Sacramento is a pretty atrocious team on the defensive end of the court, and in a game, with the highest over/under (227 points) on the slate, it's worth trying to get several DFS pieces from this matchup.

Kyle Anderson - SF/PF, MEM at TOR ($4,400)

With Ja Morant (knee) expected to miss several weeks, the Grizzlies will have to reshuffle their deck without their superstar. Therefore, either Anderson is moving into the starting unit, or he's about to get a whole lot of shots with the second unit. I'm hoping for the latter, as Anderson has shown us he can be a fantastic option when he gets a chance.

The 28-year old has played 25 minutes or more in three games this year. In those contests, Anderson averages 9.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 stocks, and one three-pointer for 30.25 FPPG. At $4,400 with a chance at 30 minutes, the eight-year veteran feels like a smash play for my Tuesday lineups.

Others to consider: Kevin Durant ($11,100), Jerami Grant ($7,300), Alec Burks ($5,600)

DraftKings Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Pascal Siakam - PF/C, TOR vs. MEM ($8,500)

DFS managers haven't held Pascal Siakam in high regard this season. However, that may be a mistake as he is flying under the radar with his recent form, and I believe he's a perfect contrarian option to Anthony Davis on this five-game slate. Since Nov. 13 (eight games), the Cameroonian averages 19.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 three-pointers, and 37.47 FPPG. While that FPPG total comes in under the five-times return we want to see from any DFS play, he's still played at least 33 minutes in his last four games and attempted at least 17 shots in three of four.

Plus, as I mentioned in my FVV recommendation, Memphis provides a pace-up spot for the Raptors to allow a few more looks for the whole Toronto team. But, finally, the Grizzlies are a leaky defense with a 116.9 defensive rating over their last 10 games and giving up the fourth-most FPPG to centers this season.

Jusuf Nurkic - C, POR vs. DET ($6,400)

Over his first 18 games of the campaign, Portland's Jusuf Nurkic eclipsed 20 points in one game, and it was the season-opener against the Kings. However, he's topped that mark in two of his last three contests, and his offense seems to be catching up to his defense, finally. Over the previous three games, Nurkic is averaging 23 points on 13.3 shots, with 10.7 rebounds and three assists. Added up, the big man from Bosnia and Herzegovina is scored 42.8 FPPG across that trio of matchups.

Now, he will meet a bottom-10 Pistons defense against centers and look to make it four good games on the bounce. Naturally, many people will shy away from this game because it accounts for the second-lowest projected pace among the five games. Still, Nurkic has shown us his ceiling with a 59.25-point outing just three games ago, and with the way his offensive game seems to be steadying, he's a great value at only $6,400.

Others to consider: Anthony Davis ($10,600), Jaren Jackson Jr. ($6,700), Kevon Looney ($4,300)
