Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Sunday 6/6

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/6/21. Mike Marteny identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to give your pitching staff a lift because of another suboptimal outing from Gerrit Cole, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We only have six pitchers who are over 90% rostered and another six that are above 50%. That leaves us a massive pool to fish from. Let's go find us a keeper! Or at least one worthy of streaming today.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/6 - Shallow Leagues

Jed Lowrie (2B, SHB, OAK) - 41.3% Rostered

Matchup: at COL RHP  German Marquez

I usually don't go too hard after Marquez at home, but Lowrie has four hits in the first two games of this series with a couple of runs and an RBI. He only has four homers on the season in 199 at bats, so if you're hunting for homers, look elsewhere. Lowrie should be able to give your average a little boost on the last day and maybe pick up a run or RBI. That can make a big difference if you're tied in those categories or at least within shouting distance.

James McCann (C, LHB, NYM) - 39.2% Rostered

Matchup: at SD RHP Chris Paddack

If you have a struggling catcher like I do, McCann makes for a great streaming option. He's the only bright spot for a slumping and injured Mets offense right now. McCann is hitting .375 with three homers, five runs, and nine RBI in the last week while picking up some starts at first base as well. The Polar Bear is back, so that fun is over, but McCann should still start nearly every game at catcher. Let's see if the hot hitting follows him back to his old position.

Hunter Renfroe (OF, RHB, BOS) - 37.5% Rostered

Matchup: at NYY RHP Domingo German

Renfroe is on fire right now with a nine-game hitting streak over which he is hitting .484 with two homers, four RBI, and 10 runs scored. Those counting stats help you in any league. Renfroe has always been a streaky player. He is riding a nice heater right now and has three hits in the first two games against the Yankees. Ride him until he cools off.

Jonathan Schoop (1B/2B, RHB, DET) - 36% Rostered

Matchup: at CWS RHP Dylan Cease

Schoop drew the collar against Lucas Giolito yesterday, but he still drew a walk for those of you in league that count OBP or BB. He should have a better go of it against Cease today. Cease has started to harness some of that top-shelf talent, but then he has a game like he did against Cleveland earlier this week. He gave up six runs to a Tribe team that isn't hitting well. Cease can still be had, especially by a guy that's on a heater like Schoop is. Schoop is hitting .478 with four homers, nine RBI, and five runs this week. He could help finish off your week in style!

Hitter Streamers for 6/6 - Deeper Leagues

Odubel Herrera (OF, LHB, PHI) - 19.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. WAS RHP Austin Voth

Those of you who streamed Herrera yesterday picked up another hit and a run to help those counting stats. He is still hitting .348 with five runs over the last week. Both of his homers came in the same game, but it's nice to know that he still has some pop. He is slowly moving up the Philadelphia order thanks to this hot streak, which could help with some more RBI chances. He's still going to help your average today with maybe a counter or two.

Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 19.3% Rostered

Matchup: vs. ARI LHP Caleb Smith

Those of you watching advanced metrics and Statcast should feel the vindication of Adames' heater since being traded to the Brewers. He is 13-for-47 with six runs, three homers, and 11 RBI since joining the Brewers. Those numbers improve to .348 with three homers and nine RBI in the last ten days. The only knock on Adames right now is that he's hitting sixth or seventh. He kicked in a homer for those of you that scooped him up yesterday. Let's see if he can finish the week with a bang.

Jonathan India (2B/3B, RHB, CIN) - 12.1% Rostered

Matchup: at STL RHP John Gant

India has cooled after a hot start, but he is showing signs of getting comfortable again with 9 hits in his last 17 at bats over six games. India is 6-9 with two homers, three runs, and three RBI in the first three games of this series against St. Louis. He must like it in St. Louis. Maybe he just likes Cardinals pitching and Budweiser. Maybe he likes the Arch. Don't question it. Just ride this hot streak.

Alex Dickerson (OF, LHB, SF) - 11.3% Rostered

Matchup: vs. CHC RHP Kyle Hendricks

Dickerson is 4-9 with a pair of homers and four RBI in the first three games of this series. He gets to send the Cubs back East by taking a shot at Hendricks, who has an ERA more than a run higher on the road than at home in his career. It has been a rough 2021 for Hendricks, who is off to the worst start of his career. I'll trust Dickerson's heater and Hendricks' road woes today.

Pitcher Streamer for 6/6 - Shallow Leagues

John Gant (RHP, STL) - 22.5% rostered

Matchup: vs. Cincinnati

Yeah, I get it. Gant isn't a sexy name and he isn't related to Ron. The 1.60 ERA is not sustainable with a ridiculous 1.52 WHIP. He walks far too many batters and doesn't strike out enough of them. However, he limits hard contact and doesn't let opponents get a lot of balls in the air. Gant has only allowed one home run in ten starts and three-hit this same Reds team in St. Louis over six innings back on April 24. Someone is going to get him at some point, but I have a hard time believing it's the Reds at home. If the game were in Cincinnati, maybe. Gant should at the very least help your ERA. Just be careful of that WHIP. The Reds only had four guys on base in those six innings, but that appears to be the exception and not the rule.

Pitcher Streamer for 6/6 - Deeper Leagues

Cal Quantrill (RHP, CLE) - 2% rostered

Matchup: at Baltimore

Quantrill struggled some as a starter as a rookie in San Diego back in 2019, but he has pitched very well mostly out of the bullpen since with the Padres and Indians. Quantrill hasn't gone four innings in a game this year, so he likely wont hang around long enough to get a win. If you're hunting for one of those, look elsewhere. What he will give you is ERA and WHIP help along with a decent strikeout total. Quantrill wont win you a category on his own, but he'll help some if you're desperate for some K's and ratio help. He shouldn't lose you a category either.
