FanDuel CFB DFS Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football Advice for 10/24

Daily Fantasy College Football: FanDuel Picks for 10/24

We're back to a 15-game noon slate this week after FanDuel seemingly decided 19 was four too many. Once again I've got my eyes on a few games - and stud playmakers - that I hope you don't see touted elsewhere and therefore will give you an edge in GPPs.

If you're looking for stacking opportunities this weekend, guys from the following games are good to target based on Vegas projecting high point totals: Iowa State at Baylor (77.5), Texas Tech at Oklahoma (73), Indiana at Michigan State (62), and Washington State at Arizona (74).

FanDuel CFB DFS Quarterback Picks

If you've read or even just glanced at my columns before, you'll know that I've got a thing for dual-threat quarterbacks, especially in GPP tournaments. Today I've got two of them for you to choose from, all with matchups that I would consider above-average to really favorable and one pocket-passer who should be able to pick apart a very weak secondary.

Greg Ward Jr. (QB, Houston) - $10,600

So far this season, Ward Jr. has been DFS gold. He's yet to put up less than 30 FanDuel points, and his low on the season of 30.24 was all the way back in week one against Louisville. On Saturday he faces a winless UCF team that really is in no way capable of slowing him down. For as bad as the Golden Knight defense is, they've been *OK* at stopping the run but struggle mightily with the pass. Ward is currently second in the NCAA with 14 total touchdowns and I expect he'll find the end zone quite a few more times come Saturday, whether it's on the ground or through the air. He's got an incredibly high floor, too, as head coach Tom Herman is always asking him to make plays, trusting him with the ball in his hands to find an open receiver or tuck it and run.

Marquise Williams (QB, UNC) - $9,300

I feel like Marquise isn't getting much love on the DFS blogosphere this week, and that's just fine with me, as I hope we see low ownership and a serious point total. Williams is another dual-threat guy that faces a below average defense this week in a game with a relatively high point total at 62. While the 17 point spread cares me a little into the thought that UNC may not have their foot on the gas pedal all game, their offense has been impressive in the last three weeks, with 38 points as their lowest total and Williams has been the catalyst.

Honorable Mention: Connor Cook (QB, MSU) - $7,100

FanDuel CFB DFS Running Back Picks

Saquon Barkley (RB, Penn State) - $7,300

You could say that Barkley has burst onto the scene in the past few weeks, especially after nearly totaling 200 yards on the ground with a weak ankle against the number one team in the country. He has a great matchup this weekend against a porous Maryland defense and I feel good about his floor this week as he's seen his involvement in the Nittany Lion offense rise.

Kareem Hunt (RB, Toledo) - $7,100

Although he's seen his carries decline in the recent weeks, the upside and talent is still there. Toledo faces a UMass team that is abysmal against the run, and as such, there's good reason to believe Hunt will be a big part of the game plan.

FanDuel CFB DFS Wide Receiver Picks

By this point I don't have to tell you to try to find ways to fit Baylor feature wide receiver Corey Coleman (or Jay Lee and KD Cannon, for that matter) into your lineups. It is, however, becoming increasingly difficult to do so with his price nearing 10k.

Tajae Sharpe (WR, UMass) - $7,500

Mr. Reliable is back and he's hungry for another week of 10+ catches and 100+ receiving yards after falling short last Saturday. His price is very reasonable this week, he's the favorite target of quarterback Blake Frohnhapfel, and with Toledo being incredibly strong defensively against the run, expect the UMass gameplan to be pass-heavy.

Aaron Burbridge (WR, MSU) - $6,800

Michigan State's most talented wideout shouldn't have any difficulty carving up an Indiana defense that just made Penn State's and Rutger's guys look like they're bound to play on Sundays. Burbridge was slowed down last week, but that was against a very stout Michigan defense. That less than desirable DFS performance should keep his ownership low, even with the incredible opportunity in front of him.

FanDuel CFB DFS Stack Picks

My favorite stacking opportunity of the day is the Washington State receivers that are featured in a pass-happy offense, paired with a talented QB and happen to be playing in a game with a very high over/under total at 74.

Gabe Marks (WR, WSU) - $7,100 and River Cracraft (WR, WSU) - $5,700

My other favorite for the day includes a few guys I've already mentioned. Picking on the terrible IU secondary is painful for me as Hoosier fan, but it can very lucrative. I'm definitely going to have a few MSU stacks going.

Connor Cook (QB, MSU) $7,100 - Aaron Burbridge (WR, MSU) $6,800 - Josiah Price (TE, MSU - $2,000

FanDuel CFB DFS Tight End Picks

Jordan Leggett (TE, Clemson) - $3,500

I expect nearly everyone to be on UMass tight end Rodney Mills this week - and for good reason, as he's been one of the best and most consistent DFS tight ends this season. If you're looking for an undervalued guy with big red zone upside, Leggett is your guy. He's already hauled in four touchdowns this month on eight catches. Those numbers suggest he isn't a volume guy, but he sure is opportunistic.
