Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (foot) did not practice on Thursday due to a foot injury after logging a limited session on Wednesday. According to Kris Rhim of ESPN, McConkey was seen walking out of the locker room with a limp. McConkey's status for a Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks seems cloudy at best right now.
McConkey has amassed 12 catches (on 15 targets) for 183 yards (15.3 yards per reception) and a touchdown through three games in 2026. McConkey was already dealing with a rib injury as well, but he is yet to miss a game. If McConkey is out of the lineup, the Chargers will rely on wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Tre' Harris, tight end Oronde Gadsden and others in the passing game in Week 4 against the Seahawks.
Ollie Gordon II, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II could see an expanded workload following the injury to star running back De'Von Achane (knee). Gordon had 17 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown, and added three receptions for 14 yards in the 24-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
After Achane went down with a knee injury and did not return, Gordon took 100% of the backfield touches and played 84% of the snaps, despite missing time throughout the game with cramping. Jaylen Wright (neck, foot) did not play but should factor into the running back rotation. Gordon should be picked up in all leagues and holds viable FLEX upside on Sunday.
Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (foot) should be ready to go for the Week 4 game in San Francisco this Sunday against the 49ers after practicing in full on Wednesday. Waddle was seen wearing a walking boot after Sunday night's comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams, but the boot is off now, and the 27-year-old looked good during the first practice of the week.
Fantasy managers can stand down for now and leave the speedy wideout in their starting lineups for the week. Head coach Sean Payton said that Waddle is "doing fine." Waddle has bookended ugly performances with a strong Week 2 showing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which he caught eight of 10 targets for 138 yards.
He has yet to find the end zone in his first three games in Denver, and in his other two games, he has just three catches on 10 targets for 12 yards while adding a 14-yard rush. Expect the Broncos to try to force-feed Waddle the ball more, starting this weekend against a strong 49ers defense. Savvy fantasy managers may want to see if they can buy low on the former Miami Dolphins wideout.
Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught a season-high seven passes for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's blowout win over his former team, the Patriots. After a quiet start to the season in which he was targeted only three times in the first two weeks, Meyers appears to have emerged as the team's second receiver, coming up big in a game in which the defensive game plan limited Parker Washington to a season-low three catches.
What was seen as one of the most wide-open receiver rooms coming into the season looks to have developed a clear hierarchy, with both Meyers and Washington holding a near-every-down role. Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr. has found himself in a rotation with sixth-round rookie Josh Cameron, and two-way player Travis Hunter continues to feature primarily on defense, seeing only five offensive snaps in Week 3.
Meyers remains a flex-worthy play moving forward and should be viewed as a priority waiver add wherever available.
Matthew Golden, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden has been in the midst of a breakout season in 2026. In three games, the second-year receiver has hauled in 15 of 30 targets for 253 yards and a touchdown, averaging just under 13 half-PPR fantasy points per game. After struggling mightily in his rookie season, Golden has turned the corner, with the Packers using him more frequently and implementing the second-most pass-heavy offense in the NFL this season.
While Christian Watson will remain a key part of this passing game, there's no reason he and Golden can't both produce in this pass-heavy offense, with running back Josh Jacobs on the commissioner's exempt list. As they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4, Golden is a must-start wide receiver as he looks to build on his hot start.
