Best Monday Night Football Bets, Props, and Expert Picks - Week 12 MNF Analysis (2025)

Xavier Legette - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire

Expert Monday Night Football betting predictions, best MNF prop bets, and odds analysis for Week 12. Free Monday Night Football picks and player props for tonight's game, including our top pick for an anytime touchdown.

Hello everybody, and welcome to Week 12's edition of Monday Night Football bets and props! The NFL season is now in full swing, and we here at RotoBaller could not be more thrilled to bring you some of the best content in the market. We are excited to bring betting content to all those interested in every slate in any given week.

This weekly article will focus on the Monday night slate, and I will provide several different betting angles for the games scheduled. I will typically offer at least one play on the game's total or spread, as well as at least three player or game props, including at least one anytime touchdown prop. Although this article will be published each week on Sunday evenings, you can always feel free to check out our Discord channel to see plays posted throughout the week.

This week's matchup features the Carolina Panthers at the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Each of these teams has soft spots in their defense that we can look to exploit as well. Without further delay, let's get into tonight's picks for what should be an awesome Week 12 of Monday Night Football!

Week 12 Monday Night Football Betting Odds

Carolina Panthers @ San Francisco 49ers

Spread: 49ers -7.5
Total: 49.5

Tonight's matchup is surprisingly good despite what might come to mind when you see this matchup written down on paper. The Carolina Panthers are currently sitting at a surprising 6-5 after having won five of their previous seven games. The strength of this team is its defense, as it ranks in the top half of football in terms of points allowed, allowing an average of just 22.6 points per game.

The 49ers will enter this contest at 7-4 and are currently sitting in third place in the NFC West. They have been on a bit of a roller coaster lately and are 3-3 over their previous six games. Make no mistake, this is a tough out when they are fully healthy, and they are starting to trend that way with the return of starting quarterback Brock Purdy last week.

That being said, despite the injuries, they rank in the top half of the league in both points per game and points allowed per game.

Week 12 Monday Night Football Betting Picks

Las Vegas seems to think there will be a decent amount of fireworks in this game, as the total is currently set to 49.5, which is one of the higher totals on the board this week. That is a high number, considering both defenses rank in the top half of the league in points allowed per game, but the total will not be the focus of tonight's pick. I do like the under here.

Instead, we will focus a bit more on the spread. Carolina is currently a 7.5-point underdog, despite having won five of its last seven games. Additionally, in those previous seven games, five have been one-score games. The two games that were not decided by one score came against the Buffalo Bills and the New Orleans Saints, both of which were losses at home.

Carolina has shown a pretty strong defense, as mentioned, allowing just under 23 points per game. It has been especially strong against the pass, allowing just 213 passing yards per game, which ranks it just inside the top half of football. Its run defense has not been atrocious, however, as it ranks just outside the top half of the league in terms of rushing yards allowed per game, allowing an average of 113 yards per game.

The 49ers offense has sputtered at times and is averaging just under 24 points per game. With both teams firmly in the NFC playoff picture, we could see some of their best when this game kicks off on Monday night. This feels like a game the Panthers can hang around in on the heels of their defense and likely keep it within the current number.

The Pick: Panthers +7.5 (-105, DraftKings)

Week 12 Monday Night Football Player Props

Rico Dowdle OVER 18.5 rushing attempts (+100, DraftKings)

When the season began, I never thought I would be sitting here recommending a Rico Dowdle prop, but he has come on very strong in recent weeks and is now the featured back in this Panthers offense.

He is truly the conduit that makes this offense run. Since Week 5, Dowdle has toted the rock more than 17 times in all but two games. He has also averaged 20 carries and just over 107 rushing yards per game over this span.

If the Panthers want to hang close in this game, they will need to establish the run early and often with Dowdle, and that seems pretty doable against the Niners defense. Over the previous four weeks, San Francisco has allowed 4.4 yards per carry, which is rather middling. With Dowdle carrying well over the lion's share over the previous two weeks, he can certainly eclipse this total in this matchup.

George Kittle OVER 4.5 receptions (-138, DraftKings)

Kittle has battled through injuries much of this season and for much of his career, for that matter, but he has come on strong over the previous four weeks. Over those four weeks, Kittle has racked up 226 receiving yards on 23 receptions while also hauling in four touchdowns. He has also averaged six targets per game over this span and has caught five or more balls in each of the previous two games.

The matchup is a good one against Carolina, which has struggled against the tight end position this season. Overall, it has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards to tight ends. Additionally, over the previous four weeks, it has allowed a total of 18 receptions on just 25 targets. With Kittle's target share over the previous two weeks looking solid, I think he has an excellent opportunity to haul in at least five receptions against this defense.

Week 12 Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Bet

Xavier Legette ANYTIME touchdown (+370, DraftKings)

When it comes to touchdowns in this game, there is no shortage of options, as each team has several players capable of finding paydirt. That being said, when we look at touchdown props in these single-game slates, we are looking for some value. I think we can achieve that with Legette, given his current odds.

Although one may look at Legette and see that he has scored just three touchdowns on the season. He has scored all three since Week 5, including last week against the Falcons. Additionally, he has seen at least one red-zone target in four of the Panthers' previous five games, which have resulted in a touchdown in two of those five games.

The matchup against the 49ers is also a good one for wide receivers as far as scoring is concerned. On the season, they have allowed a total of 11 touchdowns to wide receivers, which ranks them in the bottom half of the league. They have also struggled in this category recently, as over the previous four weeks, they have allowed six receiving touchdowns to the position, which is the third-most allowed over that span.
