Should I drop Bhayshul Tuten for fantasy football Week 10? Is Bhayshul Tuten a safe player to cut? Read the fantasy football waivers outlook.
In the first game out of their bye week, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten logged nine carries for 29 yards and a touchdown in a thrilling 30-29 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
While it was encouraging to see the rookie involved and find the end zone, his overall usage and efficiency suggest that his role in the offense remains limited for now.
Now, fantasy managers find themselves in a tough spot with the fourth-round pick. Should they stash Tuten in hopes he eventually earns a larger share of the backfield, or cut ties and free up a roster spot for a player with more immediate upside?

Should I Drop Bhayshul Tuten in Fantasy Football?
There was significant buzz surrounding Tuten heading into the matchup, with some drawing comparisons to Bucky Irving’s late-season breakout under offensive coordinator Liam Coen last year. However, that storyline never materialized.
Etienne reclaimed his workhorse role, leading the team with 22 carries for 84 yards and adding five catches for 31 yards. Tuten’s touchdown came on a short-yardage opportunity, but otherwise his role was limited.

Etienne played 60% of snaps, Tuten 22%, and LeQuint Allen Jr. 29%, with Allen handling most third-down work. With Etienne obtaining the majority of the reps and Allen's strong receiving skill set, Tuten is left in a tough spot moving forward.
Through eight games, Tuten has surpassed 30 rushing yards only once, and has logged five or fewer carries in five contests, cementing his status as a pure handcuff.
Etienne’s resurgent 2025 season further limits Tuten’s path to relevance. With a tough upcoming schedule and Allen entrenched as the passing-down back, Tuten offers minimal standalone fantasy value. In deep formats, he can be stashed as an RB5 handcuff, but fantasy managers seeking upside should look elsewhere.
Who Should I Pick Up for Fantasy Football?
If fantasy managers are looking to drop Tuten and look elsewhere, running backs like Kyle Monangai and Isaiah Davis should be priority targets.
The Bears' seventh-round pick is coming off a career day in relief to the injured D'Andre Swift. Monangai totaled 198 scrimmage yards on 29 attempts in his first career start. The rookie back was already creeping into Swift's snap count in recent weeks, and now after a career performance against the Bengals, Monangai should be utilized heavily in the future.

The Jets backup running back is also coming off a career day against the Bengals, but his reason for a look is due to a potential trade. Breece Hall is entering the final year of his contract and could be moved at the November 4 deadline.
If a trade comes to fruition, Davis would be in line for a workhorse role in New York, and a must-own running back for fantasy football.
