Taylor Decker Will Play in Week 9
Detroit Lions left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), who was listed as questionable to play in a Week 9 divisional tilt against the Minnesota Vikings, is officially active on Sunday, the team announced. Decker is still dealing with a shoulder injury despite having a bye last week, but the 31-year-old veteran tackle will play this weekend and protect quarterback Jared Goff's blind side. Decker has been dealing with his shoulder injury for much of the season, and it kept him out of Weeks 5 and 6. He was a first-time Pro Bowler for Detroit in his ninth year with the team in 2024 and will look to put his injury woes behind him heading into the second half of the season. Detroit's offense should be able to put up plenty of points at home against a Vikings defense that was just torched by the Chargers last Thursday night.
