Tristan Wirfs Expected to Make Season Debut in Week 4
Tampa Bay Buccaneers two-time All-Pro tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) is listed as questionable for Tampa's Week 4 clash with the Philadelphia Eagles, but head coach Todd Bowles said that things are trending in the right direction for his starting left tackle. Through three weeks, the Buccaneers' offensive line has been ravaged by injury, with right guard Cody Mauch already out for the year with a knee injury and right tackle Luke Goedeke currently sidelined with a foot injury sustained in Week 1 and aggravated in Week 2. Wirfs, arguably the team's best overall player, has yet to play a snap in 2025 following a knee issue that required surgery in July and forced him to miss all of training camp. While he may be eased back into action, as we saw with the Giants' Andrew Thomas on Sunday night, his presence will help to steady an offensive line that has admirably held things together amidst a 3-0 start.
