Xavier Legette Ruled Out for Second Straight Week
Xavier Legette (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for the Week 4 road tilt against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It will be the second straight game that Legette will miss after he was unable to practice at all this week. He will need to get back on the practice field next week if he wants to return for a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Rookie first-rounder Tetairoa McMillan (calf) is also questionable this weekend, so the Panthers could be pretty thin at wideout. Tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) will also miss multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain. It's setting up nicely for New England's defense in this one. With Legette out, Hunter Renfrow, David Moore, and Brycen Tremayne will battle for additional snaps and targets. Renfrow would be worth a look as a sleeper, but probably only if McMillan is out as well.
