Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that "on the optimistic side," Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) may return for the team's Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets. Wirfs missed all of training camp after undergoing surgery on his right knee, but avoided being placed on the physically unable to perform list and is thus eligible to return at any time. The 26-year-old is a four-time Pro-Bowler and has been named a first-team All-Pro twice, including last season. His presence in the lineup could make a world of difference for Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and running back Bucky Irving.--Will Brady
