Scotty Miller Efficient On Two Catches Against Buccaneers
Scotty Miller logged two receptions for 38 yards on two targets in a 17-14 preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The sixth-year pro continues to impress this summer in a Pittsburgh receiving corps that lacks proven commodities outside of D.K. Metcalf. He made a sliding catch in the second quarter on a deep ball from quarterback Skylar Thompson for a gain of 23 yards. Although there is no guarantee Miller makes the 53-man roster, he has certainly made a stronger case than fellow veteran Robert Woods, who has just one catch through two exhibition contests. The 28-year-old appeared in 13 games with the Steelers last season and has ties to offensive coordinator Arthur Smith dating back to his 2023 campaign with the Atlanta Falcons. He'll look to keep rolling in the team's final preseason bout with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday.
